Scope: Urban Regeneration & Intensification
ATELIER 1 was commissioned by The City of Barrie to produce a number of Urban Design studies and Architectural Illustrations across Essa Road Corridor, as part of the Intensification & Urban Regeneration Programme.
Working closely with the Planning Department and incorporating the Zoning By-Law and Design Guidelines, Atelier 1 generated the vision for some of the major Mixed-Use nodes across the city.

District 12
Residential Development
DISTRICT 12 is part of the larger HCM City region, nearby the International Airport.
As part of the Revitalization & Urbanization process, D12 will undergone major restructuring process in terms of Infrastructure and re-allocation of the Land Uses. The socio-economic aspect related to Resettlement of the population within the same boundaries of the District led to
creative solutions integrating the proposed new development areas with the redefined existing residences compounds.
The vast programme included Residential, Amenities, Cultural, Commercial nodes.

Residential Development

NHON TRACK is an award-winning Riverside Residential Development. Located along the Saigon river, the proposed Masterplan design has drawn inspiration from the surrounding nature and its enticing waterway ramifications to the riverfront.
Using Biomimicry principles, the Masterplan design is in-tune with the Nature , adapting the programmeand built form to the site conditions –low density residential along the river & canals, Central active Mixed Use core, Hospitality resort & Interpretive Centre along the Riverfront, Shophouses lined-up on he major ROWs.
